500 internal server error after restore

I was doing some updates to websites due to my provider requiring php 7.2. 3 went fine but 2 failed with issues. I tried to resolve using information on the forums but in the end I restored from backups thinking I would just start again.

I am now stuck as cant get the sites to load at all with the above error.

Anything people can suggest? If not it looks like building them from scratch again.
