8.3 Calender Add On Integrated to Core

In 8.3 c5 team added eh calender add on into the core. It seems to be a great addition... but.... im having trouble after i create the calendar attributes. I created an image calendar attribute named "thumbnail". But i check all over the dashboard interface, the page editing interface, and few other spots but can not figure out how to attach the event attribute i created to an event.

Anyone else having a similar experience or am i not looking in the correct place?

Hi, I had the same problem but after investigating I think I have the answer. You have to add the new Calendar attributes to a set. To do this you go to System & Settings > Attributes > Sets > Event. In the Event Attribute Category create a new set containing your new calendar attributes. Once you have done this when you go back to adding a new event on the calendar an additional tab appears containing the attributes fields.
