Access denied for site map

I've been working onthis huge project of mine. Everything has been working just fine. Now that I want to edit some pages I always get a access denied. None of the functions of the sitemap is working. When I go to the pages I can edit them perfectly but not trough the sitemap.
Anyone some ideas?
