"Access Denied" on Concrete5 Trial

Hello,
I am playing around with Concrete5 and implementing a multilingual site as shown in this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZIqxGAS1FE...
However, I am running into problems with my second translation, French. When I go to edit any of the pages under the French site, I click the edit icon and I am redirected to the live version of the page and signed out. If I try to open the dashboard panel, I see an "Access Denied" message instead. Please see the attached screenshot.
I am using Google Chrome on a Mac and logged in with admin privileges. Could this be browser related? Or is there a specific setting I am overlooking? An ideas? I appreciate any help. Thanks.
