Account Association

Hi
We have taken over a website recently but do not have an Admin login. Can i assume the admin login will be in the Users table?
Also, we need to install add-ons but cant associate the site to C5 because it seems to expect the original account
How can we work around this?

You should be able to go into the database and change the SuperUser (userID = 1) email address to your new email address and then go through the Forgot Password steps to gain access to that account.

I don't use the "Connect to Community" feature so I can't help with the other part. But if you have urgent needs to install add-ons you can download them and using FTP put the unzipped inner package (when you unzip it will be add-on-name/add-on-name, only use the inner one) into the /packages folder in your web root.

If you cant work with your developer and they wont turn the site over to you you may need to contact the concrete5 team to override the settings.
