Add a list of links to assets

I want to add a block that contains marketing assets (files of logos, brochures and stuff). I tried adding a file block but that will hold only one file at a time, when I go to add the next file, it replaces the existing one.
Also, will I be adding these file assets driectly here, or do I perhaps upload them to some file library and simply put linsk to them in my 'Media Assets' block?

Overkill. It's just a half dozen files: our brochure and logo.
Looks like the Content block will allow me to add files. Took me a while to spot the 'Add file' tab at the top of the 'Edit content' dialogue.
[ EDIT ] Sigh. Except it ONLY accepts HTML and graphics files. Will NOT accept .eps files or even .zip files... back to square one...

can you just use the html block and link to a bunch of files that way?
Yeah. That would work.
Actually, I'm going to go ahead and purchase the 'doc library' add-on, since we'll be uploading more assets such as whitepapers later.

Ah OK. Figuring it out. It seems to be working OK.
The 'install an add-on' process seems a little circuitous but the actual Doc Lib widget itself seems to be OK.
