I would also like to use a file extension, for the gathered and earned rankings in search engines. I'd like to replace a static html site with C5. Because the client has invested two years in SEO, all that data will be lost!
So it's only needed for existing pages.
thnx!

The point to this is: say you are building a site to replace an existing site that is linked to from other sites. You would not any links to your site's pages to break. You would want the same exact URLs as before.

nope, Google will index all the content on your concrete5 site fine i can find you thousands of sites that don't have.php or .html on them

for example, GameStop

http://www.gamestop.com/gs/specialty/tradeins/...

Google and other search engines will index it as long as i can read it, and it can read it even if it is a directory
