Add button not working on slider
Permalink
Hopefully someone can help me. I have searched the forum and Google.
I installed Concrete 5 (v 5.7.5.7) in a subfolder (parent site uses version 5.6.3.1). I installed and used the Supermint 3 theme. When I tried to add the Slider block, everything works fine, I added two images and pressed "Add". Pressing the button had no affect, it did nothing. Hi had do cancel the slider to exit the screen.
I then changed to the Elemental theme and had the same problem.
I removed Concrete 5 and re-installed it (via Softaculous) to a new subfolder and used the Elemental theme, and the problem occurred again.
I have tried this in Chrome (v 50.0.2661.94 m) and IE (v 11.0.30). The problem is the same in both browsers.
I tried a demo install on the Concrete 5 site, and it worked. So I have to assume it's to do with the install on the host I use.
Any suggestions?

I have downloaded the Concrete 5 files form concrete5.org and replaced the files on my host. The problem remains.
If you don't get any better suggestions, you could investigate directory permissions or try a more recent php version.
