Add File Toolbar & Block Not Downloading

My client has several GSX document files on their website that they want guests to download, but when users click on the link it opens in the browser window instead. I've tried using the "Add File" tool in a Content Block and the Add File block but I get the same result.

The site is currently running 5.6.3.3. I've tested this on 5.2.2.1 and the Download option works there.

I have set File Manager permissions for view files for guests & admins. I have a Download_File page in my Sitemap under Home.

Here is a page displaying the issue:http://www.mulberrymountainlodge.com/index.php/festivals/pigtrailgr...

when you say the "Download option" works in an older version, do you mean that you have checked the "force download" option of the file block?

Did you try with a different kind of file? PDF, word doc that kind of file? Does it work?

I have tried it with PDFs. Here is an example page:

There are 2 PDF links in the body of the page. One in a content block,
added using Add File, and a File Block.

Sorry but I couldn't see any PDF links anywhere on that page.

But it's not that important, you can just give us the results. Did it work with PDF files or do you have the same problem.

And most importantly, are you positive you checked the "force download" option in the file block?
