Add-ons not downloading or installing

I have a website that I have been developing on a Concrete hosting server. Yesterday I went to download some add-ons from the marketplace and they wouldn't download. I went to install them manually and they won't install.

I looked around the forums for hours. The packages folder has the proper permissions, I am at a loss.

Disregard, I checked the permissions on files/tmp and it didn't have write permissions. When I fixed that the packages installed and I was able to download.
