add to Footer missing after update to 5.4.2

Hi,
I have updated my site today to the latest version 5.4.2 from 5.4.1.1 and my add to footer has gone from the edit page, I have tried adding the little bit of code as before to no avail.
why is this not a standard feature of C5 along with the removal of my site?
would it not be a good idea to offer these I am sure it would cut down the amount of forum traffic.
