ADD Page problem..

I a suddenly having a problem that when a user on page with Read, Write and Approve permissions, tries to ADD a page, the initial screen comes up, they can choose the page type, enter the name, meta data etc., but as they press "ADD" they get redirected to the login page! Weird!

This does not happen when the Admin user does the same

Any ideas please?

Oh yes, the link that comes up when it goes to the login page is:

I managed to sort it out by pure luck. The parent page had "manual" permissions and the "Sub-pages added beneath this page" was set to "Inherit page type default permissions".

When I changed that to "Inherit the permissions of this page" - voila, adding works like a dream!

Weird....

you will see under permissions there is the ability to control who can add which types of pages.. i bet this might have been set funky
