adding blocks

I am trying to add an image to my site that is not provided by Greek Yogurt template. the one I want is narrow and won't extend to cover the width of the page and I end up with half a page of blank nothingness. I would like to use the smaller image, and then add a new block to the right of it, and insert some text. Can someone tell me how to do that?

Click on 'Add to' (in the area you are using) and select 'Add layout'. You can then choose how many columns you want... say maybe 2 colums.

Now you can add your image to the left column and add a content block (with your text) to the right column.
