Adding external pages like a forum (PhPBB) to the links at the top

Adding external pages like a forum (PhPBB) to the links at the top. How do you do this?
I was able to create a simple link on the main page but not at the top.

Go to your dashboard sitemap and then left-click the homepage icon. From there select the "add external link" button. This will allow you to add your phpbb page and have it included in the navigation.
