Adding Facebook Like button to pages

Hello
I'm trying to add a Facebook like button to some pages. I downloaded and installed the iFrame block. However the code snippet from Facebook doesn't seem to fit into the structured fields produced by the iFrame block. I (hope) I'm overlooking something very easy here. Could someone help please?

Hi

You may have already looked at this but have you seen this free add on?

http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/facebook-like-button/...

It may do what you want.

That looks great but just checking the site, the version of C5 is old - 5.2.0 :-( Any other options, or tell owner they must upgrade?

Just had a look in the Market Place and there are a couple of other Facebook add ons but they also seem to be for higher versions.
If you have a testing account you may want to try them out there first, they may well work but I would suggest trying in a safe environment before putting it live.
An upgrade would also be an option but do make sure you have a backup of everything in case of problems. There have been so many advances made since 5.2 that you and your end user may well appreciate the difference.
Hope it goes well and again do make sure you back everything up and make a copy of your DB just to be on the safe side.

Ah - thank you ever so much for that advice. Saved me a lot of time fiddling around. Thank you.

I was able to finally get it. It had to be added to a header, I think.

Just a thought, but I think you could have pasted the entire Facebook snippet into the html block, included with the core.

Would that be adding a block? I don't have any blocks that look like they might be plain html. I have Content, Auto-nav, External form, form, page list, file, image, flash content, guestbook, slideshow, search, google map, video player, rss, youtube, surveys, zoom image, custom image, iframe.
