adding pages

On my main page there is an "about" page but when I click on it there's nothing there--just a white screen saying "no input." On my sitemap the "about" is indented and shows up exactly as I set it up. I want to add more pages too and can't figure out how to make concrete5 work. I'm finding it very difficult and know it must not be that hard! Help!
