Adding pics in Whale Nivo Slider

Sorry if this is the incorrect place to post, I am new. I am having difficulty adding pics to the Whale Novo Slider. I click add photo which takes me to the Manager area where the pics are located, however, it does not give me the option to add photos as it would with other sliders???
I have tried various methods but I have been unsuccessful to date - please help!

I'm not familiar with that particular add-on but the usual way is to click the thumbnail in the filemanager, and from the menu that pops up, select "choose"
Yes, I believe it is the same method as it takes you to the file manager. But unlike standard sliders, this doesn't give the option when you click on the pic...very odd?
strange, have you tried putting your images in a set and using the set instead?
Not as yet, I may give it a try but given the issue I'm not convinced it is going to help. This may either be a compatability issue or bug perhaps?... but I do appreciate your assistance and time to review my plight!...cheers
No worries, probably best to put in a support request with the developer, they know their add-on inside out.
Just thought I would give you feedback on the progress.
After installing an update to the current version of Concrete5, the Whale Nivo Slider worked!
As thought, it must not have liked the previous version and perhaps an incompatibility of sorts.

I just tested an install of the whale nivo slider and its supposed to work as you described, put page in edit mode, click on slider, click edit, click add image, get taken to file manager, click on image, select choose.
