Advanced Permissions - can't set up for dashboard for users & clicking Dashboard now throws me to login page

Hi all, I have a site where there are multiple people that are responsible for different things. I tried to give a couple of users access to the form results on the dashboard and now for some reason they can hover over dashboard button they get a few choices to click ( none of which are the right ones ) but the strange thing is now when I click on the Dashboard button - even if logged in as admin - it kicks me to the login page. Very strange.

I copied the permissions in the system file that does show up and pasted it for the form results but the users access is still hasn't changed. Is there a trick to the dashboard and permissions. The first time I made changes ( that worked ) I gave access to the dashboard folder first and then went to every page below it and changed the permissions. Is this how you have to do it every time you make a change?

This is to address the first part of your issue:
Not sure if this will help but, the items that show when a user hovers over the Dashboard button are only there because either 1. they were part of the default bookmarks set by C5 or 2. the user has, at some point, actually bookmarked the specific page by using the star icon in the upper right of the main area window. See attached.
