Aligning text to the left doesn't work

Hi all,
All of a sudden, in the Content block, text won't align left - right and justify work... no left.
If I switch to html input, doesn't work either (while I'm at it, what's with all the doubling up of the code with "rel"? Just seems like a collassal waste of processing but hey I'm not a programmer! There must be a logical explanation...).

As I was putting in a dummy block to show how the text WOULD everyway but left, when I tried to justify some text, it aligned left. I tested it again and it will align left but only after justifying. It seems like the default alignment for the block is justified?

Public registration via email is on, access for memebers only on, maintenace is on.
Do I have to turn all that off? Standing by...

I'm not able to access your site as it says it is in maintenance mode. Check your site's CSS and see what the default is in the typography.css.
