— BUG: installs, but edit doesn't work in firefox:
Hello, these last weeks I've been testing 6 different CMS systems. Concrete5 sounded really good, but actually it is the only one that is really broken, - it just doesn't work on my XAMPP localhost. It installed ok, but then when I click 'edit' on a section, and the edit window pops up, all the editing buttons are missing! And I can only see the first line of the section's text, and in html code only.
That was in firefox; in Chrome I can sometimes get it to work. But I can't really use chrome due to visual disabilities/need for 'black screen', etc; — so I can only use Concrete5 if it works in firefox. See SCREENshot.
Should I abandon Concrete5 in favor of one of the others, or is there a known easy fix for this bug??

Which version of Concrete5 are you using? There was an update to TinyCME (the WYSIWYG editor) that fixed this problem in 5.4.1. Although I only saw this problem with IE < 8. Maybe make sure Firefox is up to date?

It could be that certain files aren't loading, but most likely its that javascript isn't firing because of an error. If you have firebug installed you can check.

Make sure all your permissions are set right and that no files are missing. If all else fails try a fresh install. I have installed successfully Concrete5 5.4.1 on many types of servers without any problems.

Hope this helps!
