Annoying sidebar: Can't get rid of.

Hi guys
I took time here to find an answer. I found that all questions regarding this topic had no answer. I searched by "remove sidebar" and "delete sidebar" keywords.

I'm sure it is common to everyone, so here it is. How to get rid of the sidebar on one single page. It is there even if I select the one column layout for that particular page. My video is cut in half because of it. All other pages are two right column with the sidebar on the right.
When you respond, please be specific. I'm a complete dummy in these things.

Thanks to everyone in advance.

You want to choose a different "page type" for that page. Depending on the theme you're using, you probably already have a page type available that doesn't have a sidebar (it's usually called "Full" or "Full Width").

Log in to your site, go to the page you want to remove the sidebar from, click "Edit Page" in the toolbar, then click "Design" in the toolbar. At the top-right of the little window that comes down, there should be a link or button for "Page Type" -- click that, and you should see the selections available (again, it depends on the theme you're using, but usually there is "Left Sidebar", "Right Sidebar", and "Full Width").

If you don't have a "Full Width" available, then it will be a little bit more complicated because you'll have to create your own -- but I can walk you through that if needed (just re-post here saying if it worked or not).

Good luck.

Thank you Jordan
The theme I'm using is LoadFoOv2. Strange name. And of course I've picked the Full Width page type for this page. I wouldn't bother people here if it worked. The sidebar is still there even though the blocks are empty, just two grey lines but they are taking room at the top and seem to cause the video block not to open up properly.

Okay, I see what's going on -- it doesn't have actually have a full width template, so it's defaulting to the sidebar template.

I'm attaching a full template for you to use. Unzip the attachment and move the files into your packages/theme_loadfoov2/themes/loadfoov2/ directoy on your server (you'll have to use an FTP program for this).

You'll want to overwrite the "main.css" file that's already there.

Hopefully that does the trick.
