Any way to get this to work on Composer?
I'm busy playing around with a magazine built with C5 (the ViewPort theme to be precise). Once I have all my ducks in a row, I'd like to do a magazine for a school press club since C5 is so easy to work with. I'm friends with the headmaster.
However, I currently have Composer set up pretty nicely and it works fine until I start to add some advanced permissions. I basically only want to have the kids adding one page type (let's say the article page type) but they should be able to do this from Composer.
I set up a dummy journalist as an administrator and restricted the permissions so that you can only work with the article page type. The permissions work fine if I log in with this user and add pages from the sitemap. I can then only work with the article page type. But whenever I try to add pages using composer, set up on the same page type, I get errors.
Is there any way to fix this? I kind of do this as a hobby, so I'm probably not on the same level as some other designers around here. I can do HTML, XHTML, CSS, some JS, etc. But I'm no genius when it comes to PHP. If I see a PHP file in front of me, I can make a few minor changes but not enough to fix errors.
It would also be great if there might be a way to only allow these young journalists to submit drafts using composer. In other words, they shouldn't be able to publish. Only the teachers should be able to publish after the copy is approved. Even better would be if their landing page after login is Composer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I attached an image of the error I'm getting.
