Any way to prevent external link from opening in new window for a block?

I have the Multimedia Box with YouTube videos. It works and opens the video as a lightbox, but also opens them as external links in a new page, that is - YouTube as well.

Is there a way I can prevent this? Not sure if it is a C5, add-on or theme issue, but I can't find this anywhere.
