there is something in the dev branch with the forum application that looks like it..

I'm not a member of the core team but I guess you'll have that feature soon in the official release.

so does that mean that i will have to buy and install the forum feature, just to see which other editors are logged in?, i'm not bothered about users as such, but we could have five or six other editors all around the globe. say i have a tech section to which all editors have access, and i go to edit the page but c5 tells me its already being edited i have no way of knowing who it is, therefore i cant call them to find out what they are doing.

its a good idea. I think its different than the who is online block, its just an admin tool. put it in feature requests and we'll get to it eventually, or submit a patch and we'll happily review...

cheers i have another on the other side it's the same...but opposite...and with a different picture on it. carefull what you do when yer young, permanent dont sound so long then.
