Applying theme to all pages on site

I am wanting to change the default theme to one I found in the marketplace, but I want it to change for all the pages in my site. I know there has to be a way to do this, but how? I looked in the manual, did I miss it? Thanks!
Once your theme is installed to your site, the Dashboard listing for "Themes" should allow you to "Activate" the one you choose and will prompt you to apply to the entire site.
Great! That works! I would also like to have all the pages have the same layout (left sidebar) and have the auto nav in the sidebar. Is there a way to automate this or should I go through page by page? Thanks!
Glad it worked for you. Left sidebar menu placement method may vary slightly by theme, but I think you may find it easiest to: Go to dashboard > Go to "Pages and Themes" > select "Page Types" select "defaults" after Left Sidebar > edit the page adding the menu and any other images or elements you know will be on every page > save.
If you want it to be on left sidebar pages that already exist, before publishing your page type edits, click on the blocks you added and select "set up on child pages" from the bottom of the drop-down and check each existing page you want changed.
Now you can manually change existing pages to left sidebar and your menu will be where you want it automatically. All new pages you create you will be prompted to choose page type anyhow.
Enjoy :)

All of those tasks you mentioned makes your website fast. Did I get the correct answer? xD
