Any advice on how to archive content please?

What do you mean exactly? Do you want to save it on your site so you can use it later but make it inaccessible to the public? Or do you want to move it to a different page on your site that's like an "archives" section of a blog?

Thank you for responding.

I would like to move content to an 'archive section' on my site, so readers can still see it but it frees up live, real time pages.

It seems a shame to just delete some features because they are old news.I cannot find out how to do this though.

Thank you

I'm thinking you could just create a page at the top level (under home) called 'Archive', and then move the pages you want archived under this page.

Thank you - the issue being that I don't want to archive whole pages - we are a magazine - so I only want to archive specific blocks or tables within pages.

Surely there must be an archive system for constantly updated sites?

thanks

I don't think there's a built-in way to do this in concrete5 unfortunately. The best I can think of is to copy the blocks in question to the scrapbook, then paste them into your archives page, then go back to the original page and delete the blocks. Not as easy as one-click archiving, but at least you don't lose the content that way.
