I've created a custom textarea attribute using a simple RTE. When I try to edit the attribute for a file the RTE button bar won't display (i've since added a bug), when you close the properties dialog and open it up again the bar is then displayed. Firefox and Safari have this behavior.

But my main problem is the styles are not populated in the RTE style dropdown. I'm using typography.css in the theme root. I've tried other themes with no luck. However, when editing a page, the block content RTE style dropdown lists styles fine.

Is this feature not supported or is the attribute RTE looking in the wrong place for a list of styles (a bug).

Seems the only work around is to have content editors do a little html to add classes to elements which i want to avoid.
