Auto-Nav dropdown menu?

Hi, I am using the "dark chocolate" theme in one of my sites and I noticed that the custom template options for the auto-nav offered "dropdown" as an option. I was extremely excited because it just so happens that my client just asked for it, yet I select it and it stays in a header style. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!
