Automatic Badge Rewarding

I am trying to figure out how to setup automatic badge rewarding like you guys have here on the official forums... At least it appears that you guys have some sort of automatic system?

Anyway, is there a way to do it or it is already built in and I just fail at finding it?

you can try using events to do it, thats how I would do it

I'll look that over to see if that will work. I'm surprised that the discussion forums does not have it built in or that someone at least someone else might have came up with a addon for it.

it would be really easy to do, but the thing is most different site would want different badges. I'll take a look at making one this weekend.
