Big problem
Permalink
I just upgraded to the newest concrete. I've been trying to get Superfish up and running. Ran into problems with the color options. Trying to figure out how to navigate Concrete5 Core when my editing option buttons along the top have diappeared so I can't edit my site. Moreover, the progress got published. So I have a double nav bar on the top of my screen-one superfish, one not, the superfish in bright blue, and a catalog of ducks up there. Very cute-I must admit...but I need to get my site back to where it was.
Help is appreciated.

There is no dashboard button or any other buttons up there anymore. When I first log in there is a return to website, but after that there is nothing. No edit button, design, properties, nothing. And my sitemap page is plain empty. It's as if I weren't even logged in, but I am. Just can't do anything. So, my host backed me up to restore the site. We tried using the restore function but somehow encountered a fatal error. 40 minutes later they got it back up for me looking as it was, except no functionality and the file manager is messed up, too.
New data: earlier today I would get the no buttons and "You are logged in as..." at the bottom of the screen. Now when i first log in and then go to the site, still no buttons and it now tells me, "Log in to edit..."

is SimpleScripts used as part of this install process?
There is no "restore" from us..
I know simplescripts has screwed up, again, and as you mention your file manager not working i wonder if this is it.

Yep-SimpleScripts. And then after all this, the fatal error that left tech scrambling to get things normalized...
i finally heard back from simplescripts and they say they've fixed the problem. I don't know if this means it automagically going to work right now, or if we now have to wait for bluehost to update again.
Yes, simplescripts is an installer app, they get paid to install our free app for you. neat for us, eh? ;)

Well, I hope your ap becomes by far the most popular and that you're very blessed with the rewards for your labor. I like it and will probably use it for my other sites as well.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Then goto Add Functionality > Update Add-ons and make sure superfish is up to date.
