Hello,

I'm currently having an issue with trying to automatically scale an image to specific image dimensions.

I've made an image block on my sidebar using an image I've uploaded (gif, 300 x 300 pixels), and there are no problems in displaying it at its regular file size (300 x 300 pixels). But when I try to use the "Constrain Image Dimensions" option (max width \ height set to 243, scale automatically) it changes the image into an error code reading the following:

"Warning: imagegif() [function.imagegif]: Unable to open '/apps/*confidential*/www/files/cache/2b9a7c3bf16e2f389f9d6203a832d8e1.gif' for writing: Operation not permitted in /apps/*confidential*/www/concrete/helpers/image.php on line 169"

Like I said this problem does not occur when I do not try to scale it down to 243 pixels in height and width. Nor does it occur when I use the "Force Exact Image Match" function under scale image.

I've already tried "Clear Cache".

Any ideas?
