I've done some personal modifications to Free Blocks (that have advanced, under payment, versions).
These modifications that seems requested by many users are legal to put on the forum?

Mnkras is correct -- if it's a free addon then it is perfectly legal to do whatever you want with the code. But you might want to let the author know about it, not because you legally have to but because it would be a nice courtesy. At the very least, they are probably interested in seeing what you've done too!
