blogging - autonav vs page list

Hey All --

I'm doing a blog section on my C5 site. I'm using a page list block for the main section, because it can do RSS and summaries, which is perfect for a blog.

On the side bar I'd like to do a "latest 10 posts" section, but I can't not display the summaries (or set the truncation to 0) with page list. I can't use a autonav block because there's no way to limit it to the latest 10 pages.

Any ideas? It would be nice to have an option not to show the summaries. Or is there something I'm missing?

without seeing the backend and what features you already have planned... The most important things for me on a blog are categories and tags to make searching easy. Personally I'm not too worried about features like facebook or twitter integration, but I'm sure it will get asked for.

How are you adding posts? By adding a block or a custom page in the backend?
