C5 5.6.0.2 iPad Editing work?
Permalink 1 user found helpful
I have searched through the forums and don't see any recent posts about the latest release and editing sites with an iPad and ios 6. When I try to edit my site with TinyMCE via C5 it does not trigger the keyboard pop-up when I touch in the edit pane. If I go to the TinyMCE site and try their version and it works fine.
So is it my setup or is this feature not working in Concrete5 5.6.0.2?
Thank for any help, We just started using Concrete5 as reading through old posts it mentioned or suggested you could edit with iPads. We are a design house that has all apple ios products so this will be a major issue for us.

I'm having the same problem. :(
I, too, am trying to edit with an ipad. So, do I download TinyMCE to my ipad and if so, then how do I proceed? Or, is there another way to go?
Thanks!
Thanks!
From what I can tell the problem is not with TinyMCE. I can play with the TinyMCE demo on their site on the ipad with no problems. I'm also able to use TinyMCE through concrete5 dashboard pages on the ipad. Therefore I'm guessing it has something to do with Concrete5. I haven't been able to figure out what exactly is causing the problem yet.
I want to use an iPad to edit Concrete5 websites, too, and have that capability available to clients.
I'm using the most current version of C5 and iOS6. I also tried several different browsers and haven't found a combination to let me edit C5 websites.
I haven't seen any answers to discussions on this topic for more than a year. Is it possible? If so, how? If not, when? With the large base of installed iPads, I think C5 needs to provide a way that editing C5 websites can be done on iPads.

I saw a post by Franz about this very topic. I believe that he said they were planning on making a app for editing a site. If I run across the post again, I will post it here.
