calendar problem

Ive added a long range event in a calendar which last from 13 Oct 2018 – 19 Apr 2019.
When i view the calendar in month mode the event only shows in October, and in week view it only shows the first day.
Ive also added other dates that are not showing at all.
Ive checked permissions and all fine and cleared cache.
Ive also tried a new test calendar in case there was a problem with the first one.
Please can you help?
