The slideshow add-on comes built in to Concrete5.

To add a slideshow simply got the page you wish add a slideshow to>> edit page>> add to header>> add block>>select 'slideshow' from the list>> add your images>> Exit edit mode.

Concrete5 has in-context editing. You can do most edits while you're still on the page. You won't have to go to the 'dashboard' to simply add a slideshow. This makes for a much more intuitive user interface.

Just remember to upload the image in the correct size as the default slideshow will only appear as large as the images uploaded. It will not resize your images.

Does that help at all?

Thanks for the reply.
However i know that Concrete 5 has inbuilt slide show system. I have tested it via the free account. After that i noticed that it seems embedded, and i cannot replace it with a flash-slideshow or a flash widget.
So wanna ask, if their is any chance, by which i may place a flash widget there, instead of a slideshow ?
If yes, how ?
Thanks
V.

Yes you can add a custom block, but if its not in mp you might need to create it.
Take a look at:

omg!..
i thought it must be a simple modification. Afterall, it's just adding something different to headers and not html slideshow.

Anyways, thanks. I would go through the link.

What exactly do you mean by "i thought it must be a simple modification" and "just adding something different to the headers"? Are you trying to just output a series of img's and then use some javascript and flash to 'build' the slideshow?

Wait a sec Im assuming you want a flash based option to display a set of images right?
Otherwise can see flash into play with slideshow add-on.

Ya. Just a flash slideshow/widget instead of HTML one ( that comes up with concrete5 admin settings)

If you want a flash slideshow/gallery for your site you have 2 options:
Go to the mp and look for something there or try to create your own block.
If you have some level of php html css and a couple of how-tos you will be able to do it.
As another option you can post in jobs or block requests with your request.
Either way I belive you will be served properly as you are dealing with a very reliable and strong community here.
would help as well for you to be a bit more specific on what you want to acheive.
regards
Paulo

Have you tried the 'Flash Content' add-on. It comes built in so you don't need to download it.

Yes, of course. You can add a flash slideshow to header by concrete5.
If necessary, you should create your own slideshow with Kvisoft Flash Slide Show Maker. Thanks. I hope it can help you.

well, nice topic, if you want to add flash slideshow to the header, you could try to use XFlip page turning software that is one really very great tool to build your own flash slideshows easily!
