Please help - can't give permission to sitemap!

Permalink 1 user found helpful
This happens with every accounts except my own creator's account. No matter what I do, every other accounts keep getting "You do not have access to the sitemap."

- Advanced permission is enabled.
- dashboard and sitemap - gave read, write, delete, admin permission to the group.
- cache are cleared many times.

I even tried adding the users to Administrator group and will still get this error accessing the sitemap.

I don't understand what I'm missing. Can anyone help me please?

I don't understand... I want my editors to be able to move pages around. Without access to the sitemap it would be impossible for them to maintain and populate the website

Make sure you have the permissions for a group, and have added the users to he group

Already had. The users are part of a group "Editor" and the group already has read, write and admin access to all dashboard pages.

They can use all other pages in the dashboard, like, clear cache and etc. The only area they can't use is the sitemap.

That's really weird. I assume they have all privileges to all pages. If not try that.

In the permissions settings for the home page, did you enable the appropriate permissions for subpages?

The way I got it to work was to go to the "Access" tab of the Sitemap while logged in as Admin. The users you want to have access to the sitemap need to be in a group. You can add a group or user.
