can you add Add-ons to html files in your C5 site?

This may be a silly question but I'm still very new to this. Can you add C5 add-ons to html pages of a C5 website? My Home page is the default.php which shows the C5 edit menu at the top, but it links to other pages like About and Contact Us which are html files outside of the C5 themes folder.

Can I still purchase C5 add-ons and implement them on these html pages? Or do all pages need to be .php files?

Thanks in advance!

unless the experienced programmers here say otherwise, I would think that the add-ons work only under the concrete5 enviroment.. you could always reference the php files in a frame of your html or better yet, convert your html into c5!

Correct -- Concrete5 addons will only work within a Concrete5 page.
I think the best solution here is to create Concrete5 pages and paste in the HTML into an HTML block. If the design/layout is different on those HTML pages, then you'll need to modify the C5 theme HTML/CSS to make it work with what you have, but this is really the only sensible option.

How do you create a C5 page when working with a html template? I purchased a static html template and am trying to convert it into C5 and the brief tutorials don't go nearly far enough.
