Can you edit a block's design in the clipboard?
I just started using 5.5.2.1 coming from 5.4.2.2
In 5.4.2.2 there was the global scrapbook. If I added a block to it and then later changed the design of that block (spacing, css, background, etc) it pushed it to wherever this block appeared in the site.
In 5.5.2.1 there is the clipboard where it looks like it is a just a copy and paste feature not like the scrapbook. I copied a block into the clipboard and pasted it on 5 different pages. I then decided that I wanted to move the block over slightly (padding) and did so on the page where I "copied" the initial block. It did not push the change to the other pages.
Can you edit the clipboard to change a block's design? The only way I see to get to the clipboard is when you copy/paste and cannot see a way to do this via the dashboard.
I know that you can use stacks in a similar way, but you must create the block in the stacks area and not copy an existing block into the stack (correct??).
Any ideas?

I have to bump this. Its insane. Come on guys this isn't going away.
For most blocks that have been copied from clipboard you can put them into edit mode and than save to make them a seperate instance. From there you can apply styles as it is now no longer a copy but an original. Not ideal if you pasted something 20 times but better than nothing. You can of course re-create the block as a stack or scrapbook item (depending on version) and doing it that way.
Alternatively you could change the original block and than make it a clipboard item and use that to replace the old clipboard items exactly like you did it the first time.

Cheers kind sir I shall take a look. For now I guess I would need to do it in phpmyadmin - then use stacks for future. I will check that other link you sent shortly, thanks again Ekko!
HI John
I had this issue before when i Used a scrap book and could no longer edit them all.
But if you phpmyadmin into your DB you can indeed update the scrap book contents and it updats every where they are used. Its a pain but I have done it when i had a block on over 400 pages.
Now I use the new stack system and global areas which is much easier I have to say.
