Can't add pdf files to Google Docs Viewer

I am new to Concrete5 but am beavering away building my new site. C5 is brilliant. Thanks to everyone who has made it what it is.
I could do with a bit of help please. I have installed Google Docs Viewer. I note you can only use it with .pdf files. Fair enough. Trouble is I uploaded a .pdf file and tried to use the viewer. It says "Sorry, this type of document is not supported for viewing". Has something changed or have I done something wrong? It is a genuine pdf file and opens with Adobe Acrobat on my PC.

I've never used this plugin, but I looked up this error in google and a number of people have complained that google docs viewer sometimes rejects perfectly good pdfs with this error. You might try another pdf just to see if the plugin is working and if the problem is limited to the pdf you are trying to view.
Hey did you make sure .pdf extension is added to your file manager.... It could be causing this error.
When I click on Choose File I get a list of all the pdf documents in the File Manager. All of these causes the same message."Sorry, this type of document is not supported for viewing".
