Can't get header on the main page of my site when logged in

We just moved our site to production out here atwww.www.emerladcityreptileexpo.com.... When I login, whether as a user or the administrator, I can not get the header bar to appear just for the main landing page. All other pages is appears fine. This behavior changed when we migrated from a pre-release beta path of /beta to the root of the site.

I've cleared the cache and enabled advanced permissions and can confirm that both my Administrators group and my new group "Site Editors" have permission to edit the top most page "home" in the site map. But still no love on the edit header bar. I can see in the html that it adds all the concrete JS and CSS, but none of the editor header content gets loaded when I am on the main page.

Lastly, I should mention that from the Sitemap in the dashboard, if I click the option on the "Home" page for "visit" it takes me to the page and the header appears just fine.

Is there anything that I am missing here?

Thanks for any advice or suggestions.

On the home page, I see a nav bar with Home, Sponsors, and Contact Us. What else should be there?

EDIT: Ok, I see that the issue is just when you're logged in. Hmm, don't have any suggestions offhand. :-/
