Can't logout of Firefox

I can't logout of Edit mode while using FIREFOX.
Scenario: 2 people are working on same site from different locations. I started by using IE8 (using WinXP), but because it hung up, I started using FIREFOX (may have still been logged into the website with IE8.)
Problem: Now I can't log out using Firefox. I CAN easily log IN and OUT using IE8, but no matter what I do, Firefox stays logged in -- a security issue for our work environment. Plz help! -- ECW

Sorry never had that problem, have you tried closing Firefox and restarting?
Have you tried Chrome?
I cant replicate either, I use a Mac for working and Windows 7 for testing.
Only thing I will say is when I work I have several things going on and sometimes up to five browsers running.
Now and again it all gets too much, so I have shut something down and restart it.
