Cannot add Blocks or sub-page

Searched the forum and tried all the solutions and have had no success. I cannot add blocks or a sub-page it just keeps "working" with no resolve, it doesn't matter how long i wait...nothing, need help please, i have a very basic website and am confused about why it would be doing this

Are you hosted by Dreamhost? This could possibly solve your problem:

the only thing that i see listed is
<Beta> Page Speed Optimization, disabled it

It took awhile to work but it is working now, thanks
