Cannot 'Connect to the Community' via Website

So I am just starting to teach myself Concrete. I want to play with adding additional themes. To "Get More Themes", and I presume to get any other extension etc, I get the message, "Your site isn't connected.".
So I "Connect Now", fill in my user name and password agree to terms. click "sign in" and then nothing.....
just a tiny iframe window with an image of the pre-populated theme and content.... nothing else
Maybe I should also mention that the sign in form is in a clunky iframe as well (image attached)

I have an account, and when I sign in at concrete5.org - I appear to be able to filter and 'buy' licenses for themes. - but again - not able to administer themes from my website itself. I always get a 'connectivity' error and once I sign in: nothing. A poorly rendered iframe, and the free template I added a license for is not visible anywhere
I have, evidentially, tried connecting my website more than 5 times also
I also attached a screen dump of absolutely everything that is visible when I try to administer the themes for the project

Must just work! Do you have a account on concrete5.org?
