Cannot login

Hi all. I am new to concrete5 but liking it so far. I have been working on my website for a few days now. Today, when I tried to log in to edit my site, nothing happend - I didn't get the edit toolbar on the top. Any idea why? Thanks, Hristina

Hi, have you put your own version of jQuery on to your site, if you have this can cause problems with Concrete5's edit bar as Concrete5 loads its own copy of jQuery so its like loading it twice.

I haven't installed anything new... I tried rebooting my PC and it didn;t help. Then I tried Google Chrome instead of IE and it worked... I still want to figure out why IE isn't working though...

Ahh IE everybodys favourite browser ;-) what version of IE are you using and what version of C5?

I have IE8 and Concrete 5.4.2.1.

Its tricky to say without getting on the site and having a look, but as the site was previously working and now its not, and you havnt changed any code, so I would guess that something has changed settings wise either in Concrete or IE8, are you signing in as the main admin account on concrete5? is javascript turned off in IE8?

Please don't use IE, use Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
