In my header and footer of my site I am using global blocks to display stuff such as the company logo and contact number. The problem is that when I set the permissions for general users to not allow them to add a new block to each area, I still see the dashed 'Add block to area'. If i click the add block in then says permission is denied which is fine, however I want the dashed block to dissapear as it is pushing all the rest of my content down the page and it looks all out of place.

I basically just want the user to see for instance the company logo and be able to click inside to edit the image. Nothing below it.

It works fine when I dont use global blocks, it just seems to be an issue with global blocks.
