Can't add a block to the header section

Dear,

When i want to add a new block to the header section in my website i get the following error.

Fatal error: Class 'PageearBlockController' not found in /var/www/vhosts/duikvereniging-submarine.nl/subdomains/submarine2012/httpdocs/updates/concrete5.6.0.2/concrete/core/libraries/loader.php on line 402

Further more I use the UKOA Image Slider tool, which displays only when i logged in as admin, but not visible to viewers via internet, while this block is not protected. Also unchanged after the upgrade to the new version.

Can anybody help me a bit further whether this is related to the 5.6.0.2 update? Since it was working on the previous version?

I have a problem similar to the first one you describe, i.e. when I want to add a block anywhere on the site the popup screen shows an error message which resembles yours, except that the reference is to (missing) 'asmiller galleries' instead of 'duikvereniging' etc.

I cannot find anything about asmiller galleries (which is, I understand, a legit C5 addon) in my files (I checked all directories mentioned) and I do not think I ever installed it.

Do you have connections with duikvereniging, or is this also a random reference for you?

I do not have any clue as to how to solve this. As things stand I cannot add anything to the site.

Dear Yola,

Duikvereniging is just a part of the domain and site name.

Dear all.

I solved it combining some solutions brought to me from another case after malfunctioning 5.6.0.2

I edited /httpdocs/config/site.php and changed the string ('DIRNAME_APP_UPDATED', 'concrete5.6.0.2') to ('DIRNAME_APP_UPDATED', 'concrete5.5.2.1'), saved it and ftp-ed it back to the site.

The problem is gone now.

For me (as a php newby) is the later version not stable enough and like to have a permanent solution for this issue.

Perhaps someone willingly to support

Dear Kees, I can't help with the php issues, have no clue.

Found out the reason for my problem, which turns out to be very different from yours. Mine had to do with partly uninstalled addons. Concrete believed they were still there although I had somehow removed them. Probably in the wrong way, for they were still listed in the 'add functionality' list, as if they were there. But greyed out and no way to edit/delete them from there.

Fortunately they are free addons so I downloaded them anew and copied them to packages, so that Concrete can find them and the errors have stopped.

Anyhow, a warning that a partial uninstall can cause serious annoyance and puzzling situations.

I will repopen this case since it is not working.

I update to 6.2.0.2 and all seem to work frin from the console.
I fixed the tweetcrete issue

I use the dark chocolate template and a few free blocks like he ukao image slider and the edit login box.

based upon username the member can go to certain pages.

when i am not logged in the pictures in the header section of the template are not displaying. i use the image slider block in the header section. When a login on the page using the login box the website appears to run normally. But when i go to edit mode and want to edit teh header section in the template i get this error: Fatal error: Class 'PageearBlockController' not found in /var/www/vhosts/duikvereniging-submarine.nl/subdomains/submarine2012/httpdocs/updates/concrete5.6.0.2/concrete/core/libraries/loader.php on line 402

when i edit the main.php and set teh site to a previous installation all appears normal to the site, all is editeable again, but then other issues rise, like the twitter section and docments lists are not working.

so basically the 2 options that i have now are not working.
Does anybody can provide a clue?
