Can't add blocks

I recently upgraded to 5.6.0.2. Now when I try to add a block I get the following warning in the add block window and no blocks to choose from.

Warning: require_once(/home1/decentda/public_html/newlightministry.org/packages/community_form/blocks/community_form/controller.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/decentda/public_html/newlightministry.org/updates/concrete5.6.0.2/concrete/core/libraries/loader.php on line 205

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home1/decentda/public_html/newlightministry.org/packages/community_form/blocks/community_form/controller.php' (include_path='/home1/decentda/public_html/newlightministry.org/libraries/3rdparty:/home1/decentda/public_html/newlightministry.org/updates/concrete5.6.0.2/concrete/libraries/3rdparty:.:/usr/lib64/php:/usr/lib/php:/usr/share/pear') in /home1/decentda/public_html/newlightministry.org/updates/concrete5.6.0.2/concrete/core/libraries/loader.php on line 205

I had previously deleted the community forms block and it is gone from my blocks and/or packages directory but when you go to the add functionality section of concrete it is still showing up, when you choose edit it just refreshes the page add functionality page. There's no way to delete it from withing concrete5.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Resolved.

Seems the problem was the community form and flowplayer free video player blocks. They had been previously removed via ftp but were still showing up in the add functionality section of concrete5.
I simply downloaded them and installed them by ftp then I was able to access them in the add functionality panel and completely uninstall them or update and use them.

Hi, Sorry I'm not understanding this. Can I get a bit more help on this please?

I don't understand when you say they'd been previously removed via ftp. From what directory? and was this in a previous version prior to the 5.6.x update?

So what do I need to download, where can I get them and where do I need to put them?

Would appreciate a response. Thanks!

Hello Millo,

The problem I was experiencing was due to incompatible blocks with newer versions of concrete5.

When I said I had previously removed by ftp, I removed (deleted) the block folder from my directory on the server instead of deleting the block from within concrete5.

Once I deleted the block from within concrete5, I could then install an updated version of the block that was compatible with the version of concrete I was running or just leave it deleted. But that one incompatible block was making it so I couldn't choose any blocks within the Concrete5.

Hope that helps.

Millo,

Correction to my first response.

I just read my previous post again to try to remember what happened.

If I remember right the add functionality section would not let me delete or properly update those blocks. So I had to remove them manually by ftp. I just went to my server, blocks or packages directory, depending on where it was originally installed and deleted the entire "community form" and "flowplayer free" folders. If I still needed that functionality I found the most current version from the concrete5 site and reinstalled it by copying it into the packages folder or blocks folder and then went to the add functionality section inside concrete5 to install it.

Hi Ewc,

Thanks for the response.

I ftp'd in and I looked in the blocks and packages folders in the root level and in the same folders in the concrete folder one level down and I couldn't find any 'flowplayer free' folders in there at all.

If I go into the updates page in dashboard it does show that there is an upgrade available for this version of C5 but it won't let me install it. I posted a bug report:

http://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/5-6-1-2/flowplayer-block-e...

If you have any clues please share.

Thanks all the same.
