I'm trying to make a template editable, but I'm having a problem: when the page loads, a Javascript menu slides out which contains editable content. When I click on the editable portion, nothing happens, and furthermore, the editing menu is visible but is blocked by the semi-transparent slide-out menu block. I've tried stopping that portion of the Javascript using the "isEditMode" function, but then none of the editable content shows up on the page (natch). Since all the content on my site runs on Javascript, is there anyway to solve this?
