Can't edit on one machine but can on another

this is a very weird one indeed guys. I have 2 lenovo laptops that when i'm in edit mode on the same site, i can successfully edit the site on one machine, but cannot on the other.

once logged into dashboard, i can clearly see the edit boxes around the blocks in edit mode, but when i hover over or click, nothing happens.

i can login and edit my site on all the other computers/laptops i have at my disposal, but not on this particular laptop.

any suggesstions or troubleshooting tips?

have you fully cleared out the browser cache etc?
what browsers are you using?
are the versions the same?
are there any browser plugins?
do you have different AV software on each?
have you tried using a different browser on the laptop that won't edit to see what happens?
os version the same - service pack etc etc

Wow, I didn't even think of that. I'm using chrome on all my machines. On the machine that doesn't edit, I opened it up in IE and lo and behold, am able to edit without issue.

Not sure why chrome is tripping here, but my next deduction is to uninstall/re-install it and see what happens.

Push comes to shove, I'll just edit using IE on this laptop. Thanks for the best answer I will mark as such.
